Sarah Hunter - Teacher

After taking three years away from dance to pursue her first degree, Sarah is back in the midst of her second teaching degree and is ready to renew her passion in dance.

Previously spending 8 years training with Tanya's Dance Worx under the trendy influence of Amanda Hoiles, and the classical influence of Tanya Sutherland, Sarah has gained well-rounded experience in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, and tap. She's attended workshops in Calgary where she took direction from world-renown choreographers such as Mia Michaels, tWitch, Blake McGrath, Shannon Mathers, and Travis Wall. Competing successfully for three consecutive years with the TDW Competitive team over several events gave Sarah respect for the craft and enough discipline to mentor future competitors.

Sarah quickly developed a leadership quality which was later cultivated by Tanya and Amanda who blossomed her into a member of their teaching staff. Known to be a fundamentally technical dancer she's completely dedicated to the wholesome arts of teaching, listening, and inspiring all of her students.

We are thrilled to have Sarah back and rejoin our TDW family.
